In a large bowl combine shredded cabbage, onions, flour, flax-meal and water.

Season to taste and let the mixture sit for 10 to 15 minutes. (you can also use 3 eggs instead of flax-meal and water).Â

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1/4 of the cabbage mixture into the pan and flatten into a pancake using a spatula. Fry for a few minutes until crispy brown, flip and fry on the other side.
