You can make this incredibly easy flatbread by simply combining water and flour, or you can add green onions and cheese, just like I did. Simply delish.
In a bowl, combine flour and room temperature water. Form the mixture into a ball and knead until it becomes soft and smooth. This should take 5-7 minutes.
Wrap the dough in cling wrap and place it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle the surface with flour and roll out the dough into a large and very thin circle or rectangle, aiming for a thickness of about 3mm.
If desired, add the toppings. Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 2cm strips. Roll each strip up and then roll it out again into a circle.
Pan fry the flatbreads on both sides over medium heat until they turn crispy and brown.
Serve right away or later and enjoy!
